Description: Responsibilities include facilitating the resolution of escalated customer complaints regarding TRANSFIRST products or services which have reached the highest level customer service. Utilizes a high degree of discretion to resolve escalated customer complaints. Utilize internal systems to research, assist and document customer service issues.
- Answer merchant questions regarding terminal functions and technical troubleshooting.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic functions for terminals including but not limited to "Enter 7", "Enter 8", "Downloads", "partial downloads", "alpha characters", setting time and date.
- Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot terminal problems on the VITAL, Global, Paymentech, Bantec and NDC networks including but not limited to: out of balance, duplicate transactions, retries, lost communication with host, waiting for line, no response from host, RB errors, and QD errors.
- Demonstrate ability to locate Vericenter files.
- Utilize the following internal systems: HelpTrak, AppTrak, TransTrak, CodingTrak,TSYS, FDR, POS Portal, Outsideview TransTrak, VITAL, Global, Paymentech, Ontrak Notes, Bantec, FDR and NDC networks including but not limited to sale, credited and/or voided transaction information. "Front-end" transaction processing requirements for bankcard authorization and draft capture. Back end transaction processing procedures.
- Train merchants to use a variety of bankcard equipment, including all terminals/applications released by TRANSFIRST. Train merchants to use WebTrak/TransLink. Answer merchant questions including those regarding terminal functions, technical support, deposit history, rate inquiries, business changes, and paper supply orders.
- Locate, build, and find errors in Zontalk, TNMS, TermMaster, FDR, TCC files; ability to support debit, EBT, and check service applications released by TRANSFIRST.
- Answer a minimum of 35 incoming helpdesk calls each day.
- Maintain an average productivity of at least 70%
- Learn new terminal applications and networks and keep up to date on the latest revisions of current applications.

Description: Responsible for collecting all monies owed to TRANSFIRST and subsidiaries due to return of ACH items, excessive chargebacks, etc. Actively collects monies on accounts from first collection notification, recommends accounts to be forwarded for legal action, referrals to collection agency and refers accounts which are losses. Handle all communications with merchants regarding collection of funds due to TRANSFIRST. Daily review, investigation and follow up of all ACH returns. Daily review of hold report from risk area as well as incoming chargeback activity. Communicate daily with merchant contacts or STWs to obtain information and reason surrounding return activity on merchant accounts. Research and follow up on collection accounts in all statuses. Obtain updated information from merchants that may have changed their type of business or manner in which they do business. Obtain corrected checking account information on merchants if necessary. Report on collection progress of accounts to Collection Manager. Review and correct General Ledger entries weekly.
